An Inconvenient Truth

"Are you willing to change the way you live?"

That is the concluding line in Al Gore's documentary on global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth".

Although my thoughts on Global warming may or may not have been affected, and I am curious to know why John Howard wont sign the Kyoto Agreement, I couldn't help but think of another, more probing, Inconvenient Truth. Well it's inconvenient for some anyway.

The whole way through the film, I couldn't help but notice parallels, to Jesus' life, his death and his resurrection.

You see for some, it doesn't matter about the facts, it doesn't matter about history, the fact that the truth might be inconvenient, means that "It's not true".

The fact that you may have to change your life because of these facts, is very inconvenient to some people.

But this is no reason not to.

I'm going to present the Gospel this way in a few weeks for a Northmead Anglican, Senior High, asking them, if they are willing to change their lives, for this truth.
